Editor's Note
"It was rebuilt in the Seljuk era on the foundations of a Roman-period bridge. It has thirteen spans formed by piers and pointed arches. It is about 4 m wide and 70 m long. It has high cutwaters projecting outward on the upstream side. At the third span on the Sivas-entrance side, the old vaulted-masonry remains date to the Roman period. The bridge stones are yellow in colour and are the same as the stones quarried in the area around Sıcak Çermik."
