Editor's Note
It was built in 1344 AH / 1926 CE by Ibrahim Bakir Efendi and Nikahcioglu Ismail Aga. Its marble inscription reads: 1- "In this gathering place of man and beast, fountains have been established; 2- For those who served in the order of their building; 3- Glad tidings to the thirsty, sorrow is no more; 4- Through the effort of Hoca Bakir and Ismail Aga; 5- May GOD bestow His bounty abundantly upon both founders; 6- Drink in perfect health, and offer your thanks."
