It is located within the bounds of Yağcılar village in the central district of Çanakkale province. The area contains gravestones of stone and marble. Amorphous stone gravestones, early-period syllable stones, and headstones with notched lobed tops show that the area was used as a cemetery from early periods through the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. The area also contains graves of recent date. One of the notable graves is that of Ahmed Ağa, evidently a man of letters and a palace official, with a marble gravestone bearing a combed turban (destar), dated AH 1222 (AD 1807).
