Editor's Note
It lies within the villages of Uluköy and Kayacık in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. An ancient quarry has been identified at the site, which is thought to be associated with the ancient city of Neandria, settled in the Archaic period. The site contains monolithic granite stones, some bearing wedge marks from the cutting process. It was registered as a First-Degree Archaeological Conservation Site by decision no. 11680 of the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, dated 24 November 2025.
