Editor's Note
It lies at the Dokuz Ahırlı locality within the village of Uluköy in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. The site, which was used as a quarry, contains cut stones and blocks probably intended to be worked into columns. The granite quarries, still actively worked today, are linked, together with other ancient column quarries, to their proximity to the ancient city of Neandria. It was registered by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 8968, dated 29 May 2023.
