It lies at the Pırnarlıtaş locality within the village of Uluköy in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. It is thought to be contemporaneous with the quarry and camp sites known to have been worked during the Roman period using the splitting method, like those at the Akçakeçili, Koçali, and Alemşah column quarries in the surrounding area. The large quantity of building stone and roof tiles observed at the site suggests that it may also have been used as a camp or a cemetery. It was registered by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 10621, dated 27 November 2024.
