Editor's Note
It lies to the south of Kumkale Fortress, within the village of Kumkale in the central district of Çanakkale province. According to its endowment deed, Turhan Sultan had a fine mosque, an elegant school, and a double bathhouse built here. It is thought to have been constructed in 1658/1659 AD. It was registered by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 5735, dated 22 October 2019. The fountain that survives today is in ruins.
