Editor's Note
It lies to the south of the 18th-19th-century Yerkesiği Levent Farm, within the village of Mahmudiye in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. The site contains earth graves, stone-framed graves, and single-headstone graves. Ancient columns, column capitals, and other architectural fragments were reused in these graves as spolia. The area is a cemetery belonging to the Yerkesiği Farm, which Cezayirli Hasan Pasha established in the 18th century for the levends under his command. It was registered by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 11130, dated 26 May 2025.
