Editor's Note
It is located within the Babadere village of the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province. In the portico at the northeast part of the mosque, said to have been built in 1900, there is a reused column capital thought to come from the Apollo Smintheion Temple. The mosque has been repaired at various times, its roof renewed, and a portico added later.
