Editor's Note
It is located within the Akcakecili village of the Ezine district of Canakkale province. To the north of the area lies the Hamam Stream. Since Byzantine-period architectural fragments and bone remains were uncovered during earlier works carried out with construction machinery, it is thought that there was a small monastery settlement or a church in the area. Ceramic, tile, and brick fragments are also found in the surrounding areas.
