Editor's Note
Located at the Döllük site within the village of Bahadırlı in the Çan district of Çanakkale province. On a triangular hill now under cultivation there are pottery and tile fragments dating to the Classical and Hellenistic periods, along with tile and pithos fragments dating to the Byzantine period. The many architectural fragments on the hill indicate that the site was a settlement. A stone mortar found here points to local farming activity, while a piece of a water system known as a fistula reveals that the settlement had a water supply network.
