Adıören Mevkii Yerleşimi

Located at the Adıören site within the village of Cazgirler in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale province. On the western slope of the hill on which the settlement was built, there are rows of walls at foundation level, mostly buried underground. Wall lines thought to have been built to defend the settlement have also been identified, along with a wall system believed to have served as a secondary line of defence. The site has yielded a very dense scatter of glazed and unglazed pottery fragments, handles, pithos rims and cut stones from building foundations, datable to the Roman–Byzantine period.
