Editor's Note
Located at the Çertlemik Tepe site within the village of Cazgirler in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale province. The site has suffered heavy damage from treasure hunters. Illegal excavations have scattered around a large quantity of finely worked black-glazed Hellenistic pottery datable to the 4th century BC, along with Terra Sigillata–slipped pottery fragments, handles and bases of the Roman period. Rows of walls have also been thrown about by some of the illegal excavation pits.
