The mosque's date of construction is unknown. In the hurufat (office-appointment) records it appears as the 'Elhac Halil Aga Mosque of Micingah village, Egin Pusadi subdistrict,' and there are records of staff appointments to the mosque in the 18th century. In light of this information and its architectural features, the building is dated to the 18th century. The oil lamp hung from a chain in the mihrab niche and the cypress-tree motifs around it also help us date the mosque to the 18th century. The mosque has a single-space, rectangular-plan prayer hall.
