Editor's Note
The mosque has no construction inscription. However, there is a fountain about 2.5 m from the mosque, at the northeast corner in front of it. In a wide niche at the center of the fountain's south face, a construction inscription of eight lines in white sülüs script on a black ground bears the date H. 1260 / 1844-45 CE. At its southeast corner, an inscription reading "Maşallah H.1305" tells us it was repaired in H.1305 / 1887-88 CE. The mosque has a rectangular plan, but its plan is not symmetrical owing to the slope. The asymmetry in the layout of the portico is also reflected in the mosque's interior. It displays a three-aisled plan type perpendicular to the mihrab.
