The Burma Han is a small and distinctive caravanserai on the old caravan road between Divriği and Kemah, dated to the 13th-century Mengücekid period. In the courtyard of the han there are special rooms used as a mosque and probably as a bath. Its enclosed section is underground and was built on a three-nave plan. Today most of it has collapsed and been turned over to the use of the surrounding buildings. The han also appears in Ottoman-period sources, where its historical importance is emphasised.
