Editor's Note
It stands south of the Great Mosque, on the road leading to the İmamoğlu Quarter. The two-line inscription over the door reads: 'The building of this tomb was ordered in 638 (1240) for Nureddin Salih, son of Hacip Siraceddin Dindar, son of Mevlüd.' The mausoleum is octagonal in plan, built of cut stone, with a pyramidal cap. The door niche of this plainly worked building is formed by a pointed arch with quite deep muqarnas. The actual burial chamber of the low-domed mausoleum is entered from a pit outside. Inside are two cenotaphs without inscriptions, one large and one small. Siraceddin was in all likelihood the vizier of Ahmet Şah of the Mengücekids.
