The Pamuk (or Pamukçu) Han lies in a valley ringed by steep cliffs and high hills north of Sivas, near Divriği. Although its exact date of construction is unknown, it was most likely built in the late 13th century during the Anatolian Seljuk period. It stands beside the Çaltı Stream together with a bridge thought to date from the same era. Today the caravanserai is in ruins; its roof has collapsed, its southern facade is largely destroyed, and its interior is filled with rubble.
