Editor's Note
The Şeyhoğlu House is one of the late examples of traditional domestic architecture. Built in the early 20th century, it retains its plan features but has reached our day with some changes due to later partitions and additions. The main body of the house stands on the eastern side, fronted by a wide courtyard. The house lies on the west of the courtyard, while single-storey units such as a stable, hayloft and storeroom are lined up along the southern and eastern sides.
