Editor's Note
Built in 1915 as a masonry structure on a rectangular plan, the building also served as a supply depot for the National Forces (Kuva-yi Milliye) during the War of Independence and is the district's first school. Having reached the present day with its authenticity and original purpose intact, the building underwent a comprehensive restoration in recent years and is still used for educational purposes.
