According to the inscription above the door leading into the prayer hall, the mosque was built in 1667-68 by Abbas Ağa, the Chief Eunuch of the imperial harem (Darüssade Ağası). Rectangular in plan, it has a flat wooden ceiling inside and a hipped roof outside, with a two-aisled layout running parallel to the mihrab.
