Editor's Note
The mosque was built in the late Ottoman period; the Islamic calendar year (1285) corresponds to 1868-1869 CE. It has been registered as a "Group I Structure" by the Cultural Heritage Conservation Board. The mosque is in poor and dilapidated condition. It is closed and no longer in use. Its interior is finished with woodwork.
