The Surp Sarkis Armenian Church, located in the Çepni neighborhood of the Gemerek district of Sivas today, is a cultural property owned by the Çepni Municipality. It was rebuilt in the 19th century. Left without an owner from the early 20th century onward as the number of Çepni Armenians dwindled and they departed entirely, the church lost its original function but was never converted into a mosque. Built entirely of cut stone, it has a three-nave basilical and cruciform plan. 19th century and 20th.
