The Barsama Han stands on the Kayseri-Bünyan road, 300 m northeast of the Barsama Mosque. The structure has a rectangular plan oriented east-west. It has no courtyard. The han was built making use of the uneven nature of the terrain. The building has a vaulted roof formed by seven round arches set side by side along a south-north axis, with gaps of 70-80 cm between them, the spaces between filled in with flagstones. On the eastern side of the structure, it is notable that the ground was excavated to widen it.
