The fountain on Paşapınar Street in the Gesi neighbourhood of Kayseri's Melikgazi district was built in 1944, according to the triangular white marble inscription it bears. Written in the modern alphabet, the inscription reads "A gift from our benefactors, 1944." Built flush against a wall surface, the fountain is constructed of dressed cut stone. Single-fronted and single-arched in design, the structure's round arch rests on square-section stone piers at the sides, finished with profiled, molded capitals.
