Editor's Note
The Gesi Hacı Haydar Mosque was built in the 17th century and was repaired in the first half of the 19th century, though the building bears no inscription. The mosque has a rectangular plan oriented north-south. The widening of the western façade toward the road has given the plan a slight skew. Entry is through a door opening at the northern end of the western façade. The prayer hall is divided into four aisles by beams carried on a total of eight wooden columns - three at the north, three in the middle, and two at the south. The wooden columns are kept tall and rest on ringed stone bases.
