The Hagia Theodore Church (Lower Neighborhood Greek Church) was opened for worship on 16 December 1725 and took its present form through an extensive restoration in 1835. The building, which gave its name to its neighborhood's historic name "Saint Theodorus," became one of the region's important religious centers with the support of Hacı Andon Ağa, banker to the local lord Ahmet Pasha of the time. Having lost its function over time, the church was used as a barn for many years and is abandoned today. The structure has a three-aisled, domed basilica plan on an east-west axis, measuring 19.60 x 13.40 meters internally.
