The Surp Toros Church in Talas stood within the bounds of the Harman neighborhood, at the starting point of the ascent to Salur Bayırı, on the left side of the road. The building was last used as a house by "Almancı" Ali; before that it is known to have been the residence of Yaşar Bingöl. The church stood directly across from the house belonging to Mehmet Karabıyık, beside the stream.
