The Tol Church was built in 1872 by the Armenian community, carved out of the rock, and its entrance consists of three pointed-arched sections. The interior takes the form of a pointed-arched corridor. It consists of four sections. Passage between the spaces is provided by arched doorways. From the first section, where the entrance is located, a stairway leads up to a gallery from which the naos (prayer hall) can be viewed. The other connecting doors give access to the naos. Toward the apse the architectural fabric is built of dressed stone. The templon wall and the bema elements no longer survive today.
