The Suli Pasha Hatun Mausoleum was built in AH 740 / AD 1339-40. It stands at the center of the courtyard of a structure that was originally designed as a hankah (dervish lodge) and is popularly known as the "Köşk Medrese." It takes its name from the small hill on which it stands, namely Köşk Tepe. The mausoleum is built of finely cut stone and consists of a base, a body, and a conical roof. The covering takes the form of a dome on the inside and an octagonal pyramidal cap on the outside. On its north facade is a monumental portal framed by three borders, while on the other three sides there is a window set within a blind niche.
