Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Tamis village in the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province. Walls of the mill, 2 to 2.5 meters high, survive today. According to the typology established by Takaoglu on the basis of archival documents, the structure belongs to the group of ground mills with a tower-like, cylindrical, stone-masonry body. According to the inventory record, the structure was built in the 20th century. It was registered by the Directorate of the Canakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 5304 of 26 March 2019.
