It lies within the boundaries of Tabaklar village in the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province. From the date in the Hijri year 1282 carved on the stone of the call-to-prayer post, it is understood to have been built in 1865. Standing on sloping ground, the structure has a near-square rectangular plan. It has a wooden ceiling and a hipped roof. Originally built without a minaret, the mosque later had a call-to-prayer post added in the form of a wooden pole on a square-plan base. The structure's roof has collapsed and it is in need of repair.
