Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Kocakoy village in the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province. There are 13 wells placed side by side, 12 of them ringed with stone and one capped with rubble stones. Although their construction dates are unknown, similar wells are said to exist in the region. They were registered as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 1) by the Directorate of the Canakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 11357 of 29 July 2024.
