Editor's Note
Built in 1803–1804, the Yakup Bey Mosque has a rectangular plan and consists of a prayer hall, a women's gallery, a portico for latecomers, and a single-balconied minaret with a cylindrical shaft. Covered by a hipped tile roof sloping in four directions, the building was restored by the Balıkesir Regional Directorate of Foundations and reopened for worship in 2024.
