The building has no inscription; its patron was Veled Bey, son of Basayis Aga. Thought to have been built in the 15th century, the madrasa has records indicating it underwent repairs in the 17th century. The madrasa is in ruins today. Surrounded by apartment blocks, it cannot be seen from the street.
