The Church of the Virgin Mary stands in the Pancarlık Valley in the town of Ortahisar. Dated to the 11th century, the church has a rectangular plan and is covered by barrel vaults. Its frescoes depict scenes from the Gospels, portraits of saints, and images of the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus.
