The Ali Reis Mosque was built in AH 1316 (AD 1898/1899). Constructed of finely dressed cut stone, the mosque is plastered white inside and out and is covered externally by a hipped roof, which allows triangular pediments to form on its northern and southern façades. A small courtyard lies to the east of the mosque, and from the entrance section added to the north of the courtyard, one passes into the prayer hall through a depressed-arched doorway on the east. The prayer hall has a rectangular plan running north to south.
