Alaaddin Hamamı, Avanos

Although the exact date of construction of the bathhouse is unknown and it is thought to have been built in the late 17th or early 18th century, it is also said to have been built in the reign of Alaeddin Keykubad together with the Alaaddin Mosque. The building consists of three main sections: the changing room, the warm room and the hot room. At the centre of the changing room is a fountain. The hot room has a domed structure and the central heated platform (göbek taşı) is located here. Cut stone and brick were used in its construction, and the interior features decorations and geometric patterns.
