The madrasa, built in 1777 by Silahdar Seyyid Mehmet Pasha opposite the Kursunlu Mosque, has twelve cells and one classroom. The madrasa's architect is also thought to have been Ebubekir Veledi Halil Efendi, who built the mosque.
