The monumental-looking fountain was built of finely cut stone, without an arch and with a steep triangular pediment. The trough section, flanked on both sides by descending steps, is made of cut stone. The fountain's spout section is of cement material. In front of it is a square, deep, and fairly wide pool. From the Ottoman-Turkish inscription, shaped like a gravestone, in the very center of the pediment, it is understood to have been built in AH 1321 / AD 1903. The fountain, whose stones are largely covered with moss, is in need of maintenance.
