According to its repair inscription, the fountain was restored by the tomb-keeper Feyzullah Baba in AH 1323 / AD 1905. Owing to its similarity with other nearby fountains, it can be dated to that century. Its inscription reads: 'This fountain lay in ruins; seeing it suddenly with an eye of compassion, he set at once, without God's aid lacking, to renewing and repairing it. From end to end, in the year 1323, the tomb-keeper, the pilgrim Feyzullah Baba, had it made complete, for God's sake. Year 1323.' It is a single-faced fountain of horizontal rectangular form. A pointed arch defines the fountain niche. It was built using finely cut stone. The fountain's water still flows and is in use today.
