Location and Setting: In the Comertli quarter of the Arapgir district, it was built on flat ground at the roadside next to the Comertli Cemetery. Present Condition: No longer in use today, the fountain has largely kept its originality. The upper covering has been plastered with coarse concrete mortar; the inscription within the rounded-arch niche is in quite a ruined state, and part of it has been prised loose from its place. The original water spout has been removed from its spot, while the resting benches and water basins have been plastered over with concrete mortar. Today water sometimes flows from a pipe laid by the municipality.
