It lies within the Cavus quarter, at the Cavus Gedigi locality, on the hilly ground beside the road. There is a variable settlement fabric reaching depths of up to 5 km. Heavy heaps of rubble stone lie upon it. The site may have served a watchtower function, but it may equally have had the character of a settlement. According to surface finds, it was used as a settlement in the Late Chalcolithic, the Bronze Age, and the Roman period. Fine black Karaz ware and poorly fired Roman ceramics were found on the surface. Two Roman-period tumuli stand in the immediate vicinity of the site.
