Editor's Note
The Panli Roman Tomb Monument stands on a hillside east of Panli village, in the Pinarbasi district of Kayseri. Some sources date the monument to the 2nd or 3rd century AD, while others place its construction between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD. It is a trace of the Roman presence within the Cappadocian history of the region. The monument is a rectangular structure built of finely cut stone and roofed with a barrel vault.
