The inscription lies near Sirzi, now renamed Bogazgoren village, about 8 km north of the Hekimhan district of Malatya. It was recorded in 1936. Of the text written in Luwian hieroglyphs on a rocky outcrop, four lines are on the front face of the rock and the fifth on the horizontal surface above it. Because the person who carved it did not smooth the rock surface, the lines do not follow an even course, as the hieroglyphic signs of the text skip over the hollows and cracks in the rock. The inscription belongs to a ruler of Malatya (Malizi) and commemorates the construction of a regional structure.
