Baş Han (16th century) is an Ottoman caravanserai attributed to Köse Hüsrev Pasha, located about 10 km north of Bitlis. The building's interior consists of four vaulted naves running north–south, separated by broad rectangular piers. The entrance section to the west appears to have been added later, and the structure has clearly undergone some changes over time. 1 The Baş Han is located in the Beşminare neighborhood of the central district of Bitlis province, on map sheet L48a04d1a, block 637, parcel 1.
