Editor's Note
Located on the road between Bitlis and Tatvan, this han was built in AH 983 / AD 1575–1576 by Hüsrev Pasha (Köse). The han has a regular rectangular plan oriented north–south. Its rectangular outer walls are reinforced externally by the half-cylindrical northeast and northwest corners at the two corners of the entrance façade and by square buttresses on the north side. The building is finished off with simple cornice moldings. The entrance façade and the north façade of the han open to the outside.
