The Şerefiye Imaret (soup kitchen) is a building with a rectangular plan oriented east–west, located on the north side of the courtyard. Covered by a central dome, the imaret has a four-armed layout. The transition to the dome is achieved with pendentives, and a lantern at its top lets light into the interior. The north and south arms are kept shorter than the east and west arms, and the centers of the north and east arms are each divided in two by a wall. At the four corners of the building are equally sized rectangular spaces covered with barrel vaults.
