The Meymune Han is located near the village of Meymune, 4 km south of Bitlis. With no information about its history or founder, the han is largely in ruins. Based on the surviving remains, Aydemir estimated that the structure covered an area of about 20×25 meters. 1 Which village Meymune corresponds to today is not clearly known and requires further research.
