The Tomb of Şeyh Muhammed Zilan lies within a modern cemetery in the village of Yeniçağlar (Zilan), in the Kozluk district of Batman province. The square-plan tomb is roofed with a dome, the transition to which is provided by squinches; its facades are enriched with niches and window openings. Above the entrance of the tomb is a six-line building inscription, and inside are twelve graves with wooden cenotaphs decorated with Arabic writing. Regular dressed stone and gypsum mortar were used in its construction, while the interior has been renewed with present-day workmanship.
